Proper Setup for Front Suspension

In order to maximize the ride quality with our AXEO products, ensuring you have them setup up correctly, is going to ensure you are getting the most out of your suspension.

Our AXEO cartridges are preload adjustable, which allows a customer to set the preload of the cartridges specific to their weight. This preload adjustment should be done taking into account only the rider's weight and NOT the rider + passenger weight. The install guide that we provide with our AXEO products includes a preload chart, which specifies the number of turns of preload that should be applied to the springs, just prior to installation. The weight ranges depicted on these charts are based on the rider only weight, and not the weight of the rider and passenger combined. The majority of the passenger's weight is supported by the rear shocks and does not need to be added to the rider's weight when determining the preload setting for the front suspension.
