Which length REVO ARC do I need?
We only offer the REVO ARC (Remote Reservoir and Piggyback models) in 13” and 14” lengths.
As far as which length to go with, what you can do is sit on your bike and have someone measure your shocks between the upper and lower mounting bolts. You can then compare the measurement you get with your current shocks, to the length of our shocks with the sag set and your weight on the bike. By comparing your current shock measurement to the measurements listed below, you can determine how much your seat height will be affected by going with either the 12" or 13" shock.
Our shocks will sit at the following length with the sag set:
13" REVO ARC:
We recommend 3/4" - 1 1/4" of sag, so the shocks will measure 11 3/4" - 12 1/4" between the mounting bolts with your weight on the bike and these shocks will offer about 3.58” of travel.
14" REVO ARC:
We recommend 3/4" - 1 1/4" of sag, so the shocks will measure 12 3/4" - 13 1/4" between the mounting bolts with your weight on the bike and these shocks will offer about 4” of travel.
NOTE:
In order to run a 14" REVO ARC on an FL Touring model, you will need a short exhaust slip-on that ends prior to the rear axle. If your exhaust extends past the rear axle, the axle nut will contact the exhaust with the 14" shock due to the longer shock length, and the resulting extension of the swingarm. When running a 14" REVO ARC on an FL Touring model, we recommend a +2" AXEO and fork tube be used on the front suspension in order to maintain a level chassis.
