PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Our REVO/REVO-A shocks, we designed to have easy adjustability that performs great in every situation. One of the things that we’ve done to achieve this and offer an unsurpassed ride quality is we use a spring that is 2” longer than most competitors. This allows the shocks to have a wide range of adjustability and to be very compliant throughout the range of travel. Shorter springs with a larger wire diameter tend to have a much higher rebound rate as the shock is compressed, resulting in a jarring effect even on smaller bumps and normal road conditions. The REVO/REVO-A shock springs are designed to be tool-free. This means you do not have to carry a tool on your bike to change the pre-load/sag in the shocks, you simply grab the spring and twist.
The only difference between the two kits is that the REVO-A offers a little more adjustability in the form of a six-position rebound adjustment knob on the lower damper body of each shock that allows you to adjust rebound, (or how fast the shocks return to their fully extended length after being compressed). The rebound adjustment option on the REVO-A is just an added adjustment feature that allows a rider to fine-tune their ride quality.
