Do you make a front and rear air ride?
We currently only offer Air Ride products for the rear suspension of most Harley models. Regarding the front suspension, we do not offer any air ride products and currently offer our AXEO product line, which is a drop-in monotube cartridge system designed to replace the stock fork internals. The AXEO is charged with nitrogen, and is preload adjustable, but is not an air ride system. Due to safety concerns, we find our drop-in style cartridge system to be the better alternative to an air suspension setup in the front fork tubes.
We design our rear air suspension using the factory extended and compressed lengths to ensure that we do not put the chassis outside of its normal geometry ranges as the suspension extends and compresses. This is important since our shocks fully deflated and extended match the OEM length, we know that belt tension won’t be negatively affected, and we won’t have issues with the rear tire rubbing the bottom side of the rear fender. If our shock length were more than that of the stock shock, the potential issue that could arise would be a sudden loss of air pressure at speed, resulting in an accident because the rear tire would lock up. We design our shocks to have an extended length that allows for clearance between the rear fender and the tire to prevent this situation from occurring. There is far too much liability to assume for us to offer something that is designed outside of the factory spec.
In many cases where guys and gals are getting their bikes to sit drastically low, they are altering suspension mounting points to get the frame to lay on the ground when the systems are completely deflated and fully compressed. We do not recommend these alterations with our suspension products.
