Improper Mounting
A common issue we see is the incorrect mounting of our rear shocks.
In order to determine if the shocks are mounted correctly, the first thing you want to confirm is that the shocks are NOT mounted with the large OEM flat washers (Picture 1), they pivot freely on the spherical bearings, and only the Legend Suspensions supplied spacers are installed in the correct orientation as shown on the install guide specific to your product. If the Legend supplied spacers are not used, this can also cause a binding of the shocks and a poor ride (Pictures 2-4) If you don't have an install guide readily available, you can download the install guide specific to your Legend product directly from our website www.legendsuspensions.com/products, navigate to the product you have, and the install guide is located in the "Product Downloads" section for the individual product. If the OEM flat washers were installed, please let us know, as this can cause the shock shafts to fracture because of the binding that occurs when the shocks are mounted incorrectly with the OE flat washers.
