What length shocks will I need to maintain stock height?

Because shocks vary slightly in sag measurements, they'll have different measurements when the rider's weight is on the bike.

Our shocks are recommended to be set to a specific sag setting, adjusted to a length between the upper and lower mounting bolts with the rider or rider/passenger weight on the bike. This length is referred to as the "target eye-to-eye measurement." Here are our specific sag settings for each shock length:

REVO & REVO-A:

  • 12" REVO/REVO-A: 1/2" of sag (11.5" target eye-to-eye measurement)
  • 13" REVO/REVO-A: 1" of sag (12" target eye-to-eye measurement)
  • 14" REVO/REVO-A: 1" of sag (13" target eye-to-eye measurement)

REVO ARC:

  • 13" REVO ARC: 3/4" - 1 1/4" of sag (11 3/4" - 12 1/4" target eye-to-eye measurement)
  • 14" REVO ARC: 3/4" - 1 1/4" of sag (12 3/4" - 13 1/4" target eye-to-eye measurement)

AIR & AIR-A:

  • 13" AIR/AIR-A: 1" of sag (12" target eye-to-eye measurement)

To determine which Legend shock length matches your current ride height, measure your current shocks from center to center between the upper and lower mounting bolts with your weight on the bike. Then, compare that measurement to the "target eye-to-eye measurements" listed above.
