What is required to run Bung King Sliders with Legend Shocks?

If you're considering using Bung King Sliders or other crash protection with our shocks, it's crucial to ensure they're mounted with the correct shock spacing. Our shocks feature spherical bearings that allow for free rotation and pivoting once installed. Mounting crash protection that restricts this movement can lead to binding, resulting in a poor ride and potential shock shaft failure.

In most cases, customers using crash protection with Legend shocks will require additional spacers to ensure proper pivoting and rotation on the spherical bearings.

To determine the necessary spacers for your application, please email service@legendsuspensions.com with details about your bike's year and model, the sliders or crash protection you're using, and the shocks you've purchased or plan to purchase. Our customer service representatives will assist you with identifying the required spacers and provide pricing information.
