What you're experiencing isn't due to any issue with the Legend product you're installing.

The issue arises from inconsistencies from left to right in the rear subframe assembly, compounded by factors like the age, mileage, and usage of the bike. Even new bikes can exhibit this issue during test-fittings. 

We recommend installing the longer side first, then adjusting the jack and weight on the tire to align the mounting holes for the other shock.
